If as a Veteran I’m denied benefits, is there another step?

| Jun 25, 2012 | Cool Stuff, Elder Law, Question of the week, Veterans |

If my pension is denied and I’m told I’m not eligible for a certain benefit or pension, is there anything that an attorney may be able to help me with to clarify my answers so that I do become eligible?

If you are a veteran, you know that the VA will allow a denied claim to be submitted for review or appeal.   Understanding the appeals process is not generally the problem that causes thousands of eligible Veterans to continue being denied benefits that they are in fact eligible to receive.

That’s why it’s important to at least let me take a look to see if you may be eligible and how you can best formulate your plan to legally meet the criteria the VA needs to see in order to stamp your claim APPROVED.
